Chad is the founder and lead pastor of Preaching Christ Church in Downtown Kingsport. He has traveled through more than 30 nations preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jessica Roman - Development Director, Friends of the Gospel

Jessica was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She moved to Tennessee in 2010. She has always had a passion for people and an observant and caring eye for details when she reaches out to help someone. She and her husband, Corey were married on may 31st, 2011 and both of them have been blessed by GOD, their church, and each other. It has been Jessica's life-long desire to make a positive impact in peoples lives and share the same Gospel that has transformed her - with others.

Jonathan Meo - Student Pastor, Celebration Church

Jonathan grew up in the Capital Region, NY. He graduated from King College in May 2008. He was an intern in the children's ministry at Celebration Church. He has a deep love for people in general, and excited to work with students. He plays guitar, piano and sings and loves to write and draw in his spare time. "People need to know the love of Christ, and the only way that love can be shown is through self-sacrifice by real people through real events in life." His desire is to lead the students of Celebration Church to Jesus' love - not only knowing Him for themselves, but being able to love those in their world who need Him. Jonathan and his wife, Taylor, were married in August 2010.

Travis Penn - Owner, Marble Slab Creamery

Travis is a wonderful example of how God uses business men for His glory in world missions. He owns the Marble Slab Creamery in Kingsport & Johnson City and has a great passion for global missions and missionaries. As an active member of his home church, Homeland Baptist, he also labors in the ministry of Friends of the Gospel.

Curtis Hagy - Brothers Forever

As the owner/manager/singer of the nationally known recording artist, Brothers Forever, Curtis has written and recorded several charting songs and was recently nominated for "Favorite Gospel Group" at the 2010 Christian Music Hall of Fame and Visionary Awards. Curtis brings over 10 years experience in marketing, management and music ministry. Curtis is a great communicator and frequently uses this talent as he utilizes his calling to preach. His years of partnership with Compassion International have fueled the fire to partner with Friends of the Gospel. Curtis and his wife Amy reside in Gate City, VA with their two children. Keith & Darlene Lester - Writing / Administrator

Together, Keith and Darlene Lester bring nearly 50 years of healthcare experience to Friends of the Gospel. Service in the medical field has led to a desire to serve in the mission field. They want to see the hopeless find hope through the Gospel and see lives changed by the love of Christ. The Lesters are members of Preaching Christ Church in Kingsport, Tennessee where Keith serves as an Elder. They reside in Kingsport and have five children and two grandchildren.
